Favourite Summer Nail Polishes

I usually go for bright nail polishes in all seasons but I thought I'd share my picks for this summer anyway although I doubt my autumn picks will be of a different shade range as I feel that darker colours make my fingers look chubbier (probably all in my head who knows...).

I have 6 nail polishes that I'd like to share and I know these are my favourites for the summer as they're the ones I took on holiday and to stay with my boyfriend for 2 weeks so that's an indication they're my top picks!

First off is Soigne's 'Persimmon' which I received in a Birchbox and is the perfect orange/red colour and I like this on my toes a lot!

Next up is Barry M 'Indigo' which is a more evening colour/a summer dark and is pretty much one of the only dark colours I like on my nails as in some lights it's blue and in others it's purple.

Another Barry M colour which I picked up at the same time as the other one is 'Coral' which is a more pinky/rose coral than an orange coral and I feel this colour would look different on everyone as it looks different on the nails from in the bottle.

One of my newest loves is the Nails Inc Gel Effect in the shade 'Kensington Passage' which is the most perfect neon coral and is a beautiful pop of colour on the nails.  My only gripe with this polish is how thick and gloopy it gets after only a few applications which is annoying, especially for the price.

I'm not a nude kind of girl, not on my nails or my lips, it's just not my thing but if you do happen to catch me with a nude on my nails it'll always be the Leighton Denny polish in the shade 'Leading Lady'.  This polish is the perfect nude for pale girls, I tend to wear this when I can't really be bothered putting effort into painting my nails but don't want to go bare or if they're stained from an orange polish.

Another new love is the NYC polish in 'Raindrop' which I picked up at the same time as the Nails Inc one.  I love this colour for something a little different as I usually have an orange, coral or red on my nails and this is perfect and for the price the quality is amazing.

I hope you enjoyed this quick little post on my favourite summer polishes and thank you for reading.
