Make Up Revolution Ultra Blush Palette | Swatches & Review

I received the Make Up Revolution Ultra Blush Palette in the shade 'Golden Sugar' for Christmas off a friend and I was very excited as I'd been eyeing it up on the Superdrug website.  Although I have heard that Make Up Revolution is being discontinued in Superdrug so if you're wanting to get a hold of it I'd just check their website as I find the products to be cheaper on the Make Up Revolution website than on Superdrug.

The palette itself is beautiful and is amazing quality for £6, the colours have good pay off and aren't as powdery or chalky as you'd expect for the price.  The colours in this palette are all shimmer apart from the bottom right contour colour.  Although these palettes are called the Ultra Blush Palettes, they are definitely not just blushes but highlighters and contour/bronzers too.  I would say in this palette that the blush shades aren't that wearable as blushes alone as they are very shimmery and would only look decent lightly dusted on top of another blush.  The contour colour at the bottom far right is lovely, it's a little on the warm side so just make sure you blend it out if you're quite yellow toned as it could look a little harsh and red.  I think all the colours apart from the pink colour could be used as a highlight as they don't give off enough colour to look weird on the high points of your face but I wouldn't go dunking my brush in several times because then it would.  The product itself are very soft to the touch and blend out amazing on the face.  I'm very impressed with this palette considering I wasn't impressed with the Scandalous Lipstick Collection but I will definitely be ordering more of these as they have 6 palettes in total.
