Lush Haul | Boxing Day Sale

I managed to get a few things (a lot of things) from the Lush boxing day sale for the first time ever as I always forget and miss it.  I know half of this stuff isn't available any more but I couldn't help myself and wanted to do a post as it's super exciting and everyone loves a good Lush haul.

Sakura Bath Bomb - £1.67
This bath bomb is still available and retails for £3.35 and it's one of my favourites.  It's quite fresh smelling and un-offensive so if you're not a fan of the strong smells at Lush then I'd highly recommend this!

Snow Angel Bath Melt x2 - £1.97
This is another un-offensive ones but it's not as fresh as Sakura so it'll be more relaxing.  It's a bath melt so it takes quite a while for it to dissolve but once it does it leaves your skin feeling super soft but this one does leave the bath very glittery.  I kind of regret getting two of these as there are other ones I would have preferred two of but in the mad rush of the Lush sale I grabbed two (by grabbed I mean frustratingly placed in my cart online as the website kept crashing...)

Golden Wonder Bath Bomb x2 - £1.86
This is one of my all time favourites and I'm so glad they brought it out again this year.  They are quite expensive at full price though so I grudge buying them so I obviously had to get two when they were on sale.  It's quite a citrus smelling bath bomb, not something you'd expect for Christmas bath bomb but I suppose it ties in with the whole people eating clementine's at Christmas (I didn't know this was a thing until I seen it in a few people's vlogmas...) but it's very refreshing and if you haven't tried it then keep your eyes peeled for next year's collection (see what I did there!!!)

So White Bath Bomb - £1.75
This one smells like apples.  Yup.  Apples.  It smells amazing.  Although it wasn't all that exciting in the bath I can get over it as it was like I was bathing in Apples.

Dashing Santa Bath Bomb x2 - £1.47
Another one I'm not over the moon that I picked up two of as it's not as exciting as I was expecting.  I can't really grasp what he smells of but it's a nice smell, nothing crazy but yeah.  The only thing that really bothers me about this one is how bloody crumbly he is which I suppose isn't a big deal but it's annoying.

Luxury Lush Pud Bath Bomb - £1.75
I wish I picked up a few of these as I absolutely love this one.  It reminds me of Twilight bath bomb so if you couldn't get your hands on the Luxury Lush Pud then definitely try Twilight.

The Christmas Hedgehog Bubble Bar - £1.62
This lil guy smells very herbal and he is VERY melty if you hold him for too long.  I'm not over excited about trying him but I'm glad I picked him up as he's super cute.

Shoot For The Stars Bath Bomb - £1.75
I'm super mad because I thought this bath bomb was part of the permanent range so I only picked up one but it isn't!!! It smells super sweet but also very rich and kind of citrusy at the same time... I'm totally on point with my scents but basically it smells amazing and it leaves your bath looking like a galaxy.

Blue Skies and Fluffy White Clouds Bubble Bar - £2.37
This one is still available and retails at £4.75.  It's supposed to be a double sized bubble bar but I don't think it's that much bigger than the others.  It also kind of stinks.  It smells very herbal which I suppose I'm not a fan of but it's a bubble bar so I can mix it with a bath bomb to mask the smell plus it might not smell as strong once I crumble it in the bath.  Not over the moon about this one but it's meh.

Holly Golightly Bubble Bar - £2.37
This. Stinks. It smells like straight up spice.  It smells like cinnamon and clove which I hate in bath products as I find it's just too much.  Don't get me wrong I do love a good spicy coffee from Starbucks but I'm not a huge fan of this.

Cinders Bath Bomb - £1.25
Contradicting myself by saying that I love this as it's very spicy smelling but it's also got hints of sweet and citrus so it makes it that bit nicer and it had popping candy in it so what's not to love?!

First Snow - £2.37
The only cosmetic type things I've tried from Lush as the lip scrubs which I love so I was intrigued to try this.  Described as a sparking dusting powder - a citrusy powder to leave skin looking as if it's been kissed by twinkling snowflakes.  As you can see below, it's basically a white/iridescent shimmer powder which you can use on your body and face.  I've used it as a highlight on my face once and it was quite nice although be careful as you can use too much very quickly.  It also smells very highly of oranges so keep that in mind if you can get a hold of it.  Only gripe with it is the bottle, it definitely isn't easy to use in this type of bottle so I would recommend if they put it in a little jar so you can control how much you're using.

I haven't included pictures of what they look like in the bath as I've only used a couple but you can follow me on Instagram @jodiemclernon where I always post what they look like in the bath if you're interested even though it might take me a while to get through them, it will be on there eventually.

I hope you enjoyed this post and hey, a whole week of keeping to my "schedule" right?! Let's not jinx it but it's been good getting a post up 3 times a week and I hope you're enjoying it too.
