Sorry this months box is a little late as I received it the day I was going down to my boyfriends house and I didn't want to lug the box with me but I did take a few products from the box with me therefore I'll have more to say on some of them as I've actually tried them out for about a week.
This months box was okay for me, some products I wasn't raving about but others I was excited to give a go. Another thing I liked about this box is that there wasn't really any cheap products in here so I feel I'm getting better value and can try out higher end products I usually wouldn't risk buying unless I knew I'd love them.
Dr. Jart+ Pore Refine Tight Effect Toner - £18
I love that this is a full size product as I love toners and I love trying out new ones and I've been using this one for about a week now so I have a few things to say about it. My main problem with this is the packaging (I should probably have taken a picture of the top but hey ho) as it comes in this weird pump bottle but it wastes so much product as it doesn't evenly distribute. I've used more than 1/4 of the bottle which isn't very good as I've only been using it for a week so I'd imagine it wouldn't last very long and for £18 that's not great. I do like the way it applies though as I feel it cleanses my skin and gets all the gunk off of it. It smells kind of medicine like but that doesn't bother me. I've not noticed any major difference in my skin but it's pleasant to use and I enjoy it in my skin care routine. Probably won't be purchasing the full size as it's super expensive and doesn't last very long.
Lord & Berry Mini Bronzer in the shade 'Sienna' - £19
I've also been using this for a week too and I LOVE it! I've been using it to contour and it gives the most natural and subtle definition but still shaping my face. I have a problem with contouring as I'm not very good at it and end up looking like I've rubbed mud on my face or my face still looks round as hell after I've spent 10 minutes "sculpting" it. I do love this product and maybe I'll buy it if I feel like splashing out £19 on a bronzer.
Jane Iredale Just Kisses Lip Plumper - £22
First off, this colour is hideous. It's not even a nice brown nude "Kylie Jenner" lip look it's just a muddy, nasty brown which is shiny and weird. It has a minty type smell and makes your lips tingle but I left it on for about half an hour and I don't think it made my lips look any fuller. For £22, I definitely think there are better products on the market and the colour is nasty.
Beauty Protector Protect & Treat Hair Mask - £16
I've received products from this brand before and I hate the smell of them and that's why I wasn't too fond of these when I seen them in the box but it's a hair mask so I can just shove it on and be done with it. I've not tried but the sample size is generous and I'm sure I could get a couple of uses out of these. Not over the moon about this product but it's alright.
OPI 'A Grape Affair!' Nail Polish - £11.95
Another full size product which is good cause they usually only put little nail polishes in these boxes. Unfortunately, I'm not a fan of dark nail polishes as they make my hands look chubbier and yeah. My mum does love dark colours so I'm sure she'll love this but it's just not for me. The OPI nail polishes are a decent formula and last a decent amount of time.
That's it for the November Birchbox, it was an okay box for me, nothing amazing! There was a mini chocolate bar in there but my boyfriend and I had that eaten within the hour (it was yummy!). I hope you enjoyed this post and apologies for lack of posts this week, I've needed a little break but I'm back now and I've got some exciting stuff to share with you over the next few posts!
Thank you for reading.
