Homemade Caramel Iced Latte

I love drinking coffee but it's bee far too hot and muggy for drinking coffee during the day in the UK so I decided to delve into the world of iced coffee.  I've tried iced coffee from both Costa and Starbucks and both were meh as I have quite a sweet tooth and those just did not satisfy it.  This recipe isn't the healthiest and is definitely a treat as it's very sugary.

What you will need
1. A jar of some form or large cup
2. Pre made coffee concentrate - 1 tbsp coffee, 1 tbsp sugar then left to cool
3. Caramel syrup
4. Milk of some form (I'm using semi-skimmed)
5. Ice
6. Straw
7. Spoon (for mixing!)

Step 1 - Add ice to jar, I usually fill it around half way and this keeps my drink icy cold for over an hour

Step 2 - Add caramel syrup of your choice, I'm using the Monin one which was around £5.50 for a pretty small bottle as this is all they had in Sainsbury's but I'm sure you could get more value for money if you searched online.  I fill about this much (usually a little less, I went a little over the top this time) but just add to how you would like it.

Step 3 - Add coffee concentrate to about half way depending on how strong you'd like it.

Step 4 - Add milk to the top and you're finished!  It's the perfect summer drink to fill you're coffee fix and takes very little time to make, especially if you have coffee pre-made from a previous one you've made!

I hope you enjoyed this post and let me know if you make it yourself/your thoughts!
