I'm a burner. Every time I go on holiday I get burned without question so I decided to cave and fall for the hype that is Riemann's P20 sun cream. It retails at £24.99 from Boots where I purchased mine (buy here). Granted that you can get it cheaper from discount stores and online but to pick up in stores for convenience purposes, it's pretty darn expensive for a sun cream.

I got mine in factor 50+ as I am very pale and I live in Scotland therefore my skin isn't used to seeing the sun very often. I also bought the 200ml spray bottle as there were no lotion/oil types and this size lasted me 11 days with around 1 or 2 days left in the bottle which I didn't need.
As shown, the product comes out in the form of a brown tinted oil and makes your skin look very oily and slightly tanned. On the boots website, they specifically claim that this product is non-greasy, non-oily and fragrance free which is all a lie. The product is an oil which makes it pretty hard for it to be non-greasy and non-oily. The product also has a very pungent smell that's similar to insect repellent if you've eve used that, I found the smell to be bearable but if you're sensitive to smells then you might want to test it out somehow before committing to the whole bottle. I didn't notice any staining on clothes or grease caused by the sun cream and all my clothes have washed pretty well, I wouldn't advise wearing white while wearing this as it will make the item have a slight yellow tint but washes out fine, but if you're in the situation where you can't wash it and have to re-wear clothes (like I was while on holiday) then stay clear of this on those days as it turned my only white bra yellow while I was away which was a pain. Washing the product off your hands after applying can be pain too as it's water resistant/an oil so make sure you have a bar of soap of some sort to really scrub your hands or else you'll be making everything you touch oily.
I highly recommend this product as I did not get burned at all during my 12 days in Crete where we were walking about in the sun for hours, sunbathing and being in and out the pool. The product spreads well over the body and you only need a few sprays for a large area. I'd definitely pay for this again if I was going to a hot country, maybe not for every day use in the UK as it is quite messy and never fully dries (as it says on the front of the bottle). Perfect for children as they're not too fussed on the oiliness but will protect well. All round good product and my only con is the fact it is an oil but I've totally looked past that due to how well it works. Maybe next time I would wear factor 50 for a while then go down to 30 as I came back from Greece as white as I went but that's tricky when a product like this is so expensive.
Thank you for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
