BirchBox | March 2014

This months BirchBox was a real hit with me as I was interested in pretty much every product! 

First up was the lifestyle extra which was Propercorn 'Sweet Coconut & Vanilla' popcorn which retails at £0.90.  It tasted very strange and not to my liking, I'd say this popcorn has an acquired taste! Next was the Lord & Berry 'Couture Kohl Kajal Eye Pencil' which retails for £10.  This is just a bog standard black eyeliner and it didn't blow me away when swatched on my hand.  Another product that didn't really blow me away but will still be nice to use is the Campos De Ibiza 'Almendra Body Milk' which retails at £16.55.  This product is described as "spring in a bottle" which I don't agree with as it smells very rich.  A product that I have been dying to try is the Yes To Cucumber facial wipes which retails at £4.99.  They're very refreshing and smell of cucumbers (duh!).  

Another product that I'm super excited to try out is The Balm Cosmetics 'How 'Bout Them Apples? Cheek & Lip cream' which retails at £26 for the palette.  This is basically a cream blush/lip tiny which will be lovely to use in the summer for a dewy finish.

Lastly is the Colour Club 'Gala's Gems Nail Polish' in the shade 'Aquamarine Azulino' which is described as "A pastel shade that evokes blue skies and the spring dawn." and retails at £15 for a set of 4.  The colour of this polish is adorable but I would much prefer it if it wasn't shimmery but hey ho!
