Yesterday I went shopping and I bought waaay more than I planned to so I thought I would share some of the bits I got. I also bought some new gym clothes and a few homeware bits but in this haul I'm just going to share what I got from Lush, some beauty bits and some stationary.
This smells so good, like chocolate, but the main ingredients of this one are orange oil, cocoa butter, and bergamot oil. If you don't like glitter then I'd stay away from this but it smells amazing.
I bought this to store my shampoo bar and my solid conditioner, a little expensive but it's something that I'll only need to purchase once!
This one smells weird, like grass and violets but the main ingredients in this one are violet leaf, jasmine, rosewood and ylang ylang. It's not an amazing smell but it's definitely nice once it's in the bath and it turns your water a lovely purple colour under the bubbles!
Luke bought me a shampoo bar after I moaned about wanting one for ages for Valentines and I love it so I decided it would only make sense to buy a solid conditioner as well. This has a very neutral smell, although Luke says he hates the smell of it but tbh I can hardly smell anything from it. The main ingredients in this one are cocoa butter, figs, avocado and ylang ylang. If anything it just smells very herbal to me but I'm excited to give it a go!
A repurchase of my favourite powder ever. The best powder I've tried from the drugstore is the Rimmel Stay Matte powder in translucent - £3.99. It leaves me feeling matte for pretty much all of the day, unless I'm out for 6/7+ hours then this does the trick!
There is a lot of hype surrounding this product at the moment so I decided I had to give it a go. I've been wanting to try an alternative way to taking my make up off as I'm a make up wipe then cleanse kind of gal so the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water - £3.32 was right up my street. However, I tried this last night for the first time and I'm not all that impressed. It didn't take my mascara off but it did take my eyeliner off pretty well without smudging it all over my face like a make up wipe usually does. Overall, I'm not blown away, I'll use it up but I probably won't buy it again.
Barry M Nail Paint in the shade 'Mustard' - £3.99. I don't actually know what I was thinking when I bought this as it doesn't really suit me and I knew this at the time but maybe I'll get over that and just wear it. Barry M Gelly High Shine nail paints are amazing though.
I've been wanting to try coloured liner for a while now so I decided to pick up the Collection Extreme 24 House Felt Tip Liner in the shade 'Teal' - £2.99. The colour is this beautiful dark teal colour and it glides on amazingly. The formula is really wet and it dries matte. However, I tried this on my eyes just as I was writing this post, with no other make up on might I add, just to see what it would look like and it was lovely, applied perfect but when I went to take it off, no. It refused. It's currently still on my eyes but the slightest bit faded... I imagine it's not going to budge until I wash my face about 10 times throughout the day. So take that as a pro or a con...
Cass Art were doing a launch event where you got 10% off everything and a free goodie bag and free tote bag when you spend £10 or more. I obviously had to get the goodie bag so I bought a few things.
First off I bought this beautiful orange jungle print notebook from the brand Nuuna which was on sale for £9.25 so I couldn't say no.
The main reason I wanted to go into Cass Art was to get these Faber Castell pens - £12.50 which I bought Luke for Valentines and found myself using them so I decided to just get my own. These are amazing and they're quite cheap for what they are.
Lastly I picked up this copper pen from Caran D'ache - £2.20 as I have the gold one and I really like it.
I hope you enjoyed this little haul and thank you for reading!
