When In Paris... Eat A Lot Of Food! | Paris Series #2

My boyfriend and I LOVE food, over the last few months we've been really into going to new restaurants and eating different foods so we definitely had fun testing out different foods in Paris.

Day One

The first day we got there we went to Restorante Delarte which was near our hotel and we were both starving so we didn't fancy walking very far for food! I got the spaghetti bolognese which was super yummy although it was a little dry as the pasta to sauce ratio was off but good anyway.  Luke got the 4 cheese pizza which he enjoyed apart from the blue cheese section.

Day Two

We grabbed lunch at a fast food pizza place called Pizza Rustica and it was 7.50 for a slab of pizza and a can which was very reasonable.  I got the veggie pizza which was yummy but I wasn't a fan of the courgette on top as it was quite soggy from being re-heated.  Luke got the mushroom pizza and he said it was lovely!

We also stopped for some fancy ice cream at Gelati D'Alberto as I was craving something sweet and the ice cream was in the shape of a flower, how can you say no to that?  It was 3.50 for 2 scoops which was very reasonable as they easily could have charged more.  I got the kinder and salted caramel, the kinder was AMAZING but the caramel was way too salty (even for salted caramel...).  Luke got banana and kinder and he said the banana was too much but the kinder was amazing.

Day Three

First off, we went to a disgusting kebab place which was so disgusting and I didn't even get a picture of it.

We did treat ourselves straight afterwards with a crepe and I got chocolate and coconut which was amazing!

We then had dinner outside the Arc De Triomphe in a place called Vesuvio which was quite swanky and had yummy food! I had the cheeseburger which was absolutely amazing although the bun was very sweet which kind of ruined it.  The chips were super yummy too.  Luke had the veggie pizza which he loved but wasn't too keen on how big the eggplant was.

Day Four - Disneyland!

We went to Cowboy Cookout for lunch in one of the Disney parks which wasn't amazing and pretty pricey but I forgot to take pictures!

For dinner we went to Planet Hollywood as we were knackered and just wanted yummy food!  The nachos were a little too cheesy and there was very little salsa but nachos are nachos! I had spag bol again which was very yummy and nicer than the first place I had it.  Luke got a cheese pizza which he said was nice and the chips were too.

Day Five

On our last day we went to a place called Frogburger where I had the best burger of my entire life, it was amazing! It was a BBQ bacon burger and it was so fresh as well as the meat tasting fresh too.  The chips were amazing but the nachos were somewhat of a letdown.  Luke had the veggie burger which he said was the best veggie burger he's ever had.  He also tried the Frogburger pale ale which he said was citrus-y and he enjoyed.  Frogburger was amazing.

Other little bits and bobs we ate during the trip include these weird deep fat fried honey things which were amazing but so so sickening, fancy chocolate and macrons which were kinda mingin, churros outside the Eiffel tower which were amazing and ice lolly's in Disneyland which were also amazing!

All round we ate a lot of good food and we also managed to sneak a McDonald's in there when we were starving before we went up the Eiffel Tower but nonetheless it was yummy and the only thing we didn't try were croissants and coffee which we regret!

Thank you for reading and I hope you aren't too hungry now...
