I've never done any hair related posts on here as I don't really know about hair and I don't necessarily venture out of what I use so it's not all that exciting but nonetheless, I hope you enjoy!
Step One - Shampoo & Condition!
I'm not all that fussy about which shampoo and conditioner I use but I generally like to use matching ones, I don't know why. I'm using this one at the moment (as it was on offer) and it's the Herbal Essences 'Ignite My Colour' range which is apparently supposed to make your colour more 'vibrant'. They smell good and they were cheap and cheerful! My favourite shampoo and conditioner is the John Frieda Frizz Ease range as it leaves my hair feeling the nicest and I feel is a luxury product for the price.
Step Two - Wet Hair
After I wash my hair, I use a couple of products to ensure my hair isn't as brittle and dry looking when dry.
If my hair is super tuggy I use the Number 4 Lumiere D'Hiver Super Comb Prep & Protect which is a de-tangler and helps me comb through my hair.
I then use the Tresemme Keratin Smooth Heat Protection Shine Spray before I dry my hair.
I then run the Tresemme Liquid Gold Argan Oil through the ends and mid lengths to make my ends stronger and smoother.
Lastly, I use the L'Oreal Studio Matt & Messy Shine - Free Salt Spray all over my hair so that it has a little texture as my hair is very thin so it gets greasy very quickly once it's dry, especially if I've washed my hair the night before.
Step Three - Styling
I ALWAYS use the VO5 Give Me Texture Instant Oomph Powder in the roots and through my hair to make it thicker as my hair is ridiculously thin and would look very lacklustre if I didn't.
I finish off with a little bit of the Wella Shockwaves Ultra Strong Hairspray, a lot of people wouldn't like as it makes your hair kind of crunchy, but I like it as it keeps its hold.
Lastly, if my hair is greasy I will use the Batiste Dry Shampoo, always in the tropical scent as it smells like coconut, through the roots of my hair and it's my favourite dry shampoo.
I hope you enjoyed my post all about my hair and if you have any thickening products then I'd love that!
Jodie
