I have a habit of buying way too many books in the one period of time, getting all excited and starting them all then abandoning some of them after the first few chapters as I've started reading 2 or 3 books at the same time. I thought it would be cool if I named and shamed (shamed myself) the books I've started then abandoned so that I can set myself a goal to read them over the next few months and basically just show them some love. Most of these books have been YouTube influenced purchases as I watch a few "book-tubers".
I was going to write a little bit about the books but I've decided that I'm just going to set myself a goal to finish one then write a review of it when I'm finished instead of waffle on about something I don't really know anything about...yet.
The first book out of these five that I'm challenging myself to finish by the end of October is Eleanor & Park and my boyfriend bought it for me and gave me it as an early birthday present (as my birthday isn't until October 24th). I would like to have finished this by my birthday so that gives me a whole month and I'm only a couple of chapters in.
It would be cool if anyone would like to join me in reading books they've kinda started and not finished so lemme know what books you've done that with and if you'd like to join me!
