Foods of the Week | Edition 1

I've eaten out quite a lot the last few weeks so I thought it'd be nice to share my thoughts on where I've been and maybe I'll do these once a month on a Sunday depending on where I've eaten. 

First off was burritos and bubble tea which is pretty much the perfect combination.  Burrito from Pinto was divine and would 100% go back.  Bubble tea from Jenny's tea bar in Glasgow was also lovely, I always get a mango passion with mango bubbles and it's so fruity and fresh. 

Next up is Chiquito which is Luke and I's favourite restaurant and I've already written a post on the one in Glasgow (here!) and the one in Chester is just as good.  We always get nachos and churros for starter and dessert so if you'd like to see that then check out my previous post on Chiquito's.  My main this time wasn't as nice, I had the chicken skewers which weren't that great but the chips were lovely.  Luke had quesadilla's which were so tasty and I regret not getting them too!

    

We also popped into Krispy Kreme as I'd never tasted their doughnuts (apologies for lack of doughnut picture, I was too busy eating it before I decided it was a good idea to take a picture of it).  I had the cookie crunch doughnut as well as the chocolate frappe, both were tasty but the frappe wasn't as good as Starbucks (as expected).  

Lastly was Pizza Express which I had also never been to and was pleasantly surprised as the food was really nice.  We had dough balls as a sharing starter, Luke had the Emilia pizza which he said he enjoyed but probably wouldn't get again and I got the Pollo Ad Astra which was super yummy but also super spicy and I would get it again.  Overall Pizza Express was pretty good and although it wouldn't be my first choice, I'd definitely go back.  

I hope you enjoyed this little bonus post, I have so much time on my hands while Luke is at work as I'm staying at his so I might as well get more frequent blog posts up while I can, next week will probably just be to schedule though as we have some stuff planned but it maybe exciting stuff that I'll share if I remember to take enough photos.  Thank you for reading and I know this was a little different but yeah!
