At the weekend my boyfriend and I took a trip to Ikea which was my first time going and I was very excited. I picked up quite a few things for my room for very little cost and Luke picked up a few bigger items that I thought I would share.

Large Single Cacti, Small 3 Pack of Cacti, Plant Pot. |
The main thing I went to Ikea for was for some cacti which I've had my eye on for quite a while so I could decorate my windowsill with them. The larger cacti at the top were £3 each and the smaller ones at the bottom came in their own little ceramic pots in all different colours in a pack of 3 for £4.50. The bigger cacti just came in a boring old pot so I also bought those little tin pots which were 95p.

Orange Scented Candle, Apple Scented Candle, Candle Holder. |
Ikea also have a huge range of candles which is super exciting as I absolutely love candles and these fresh smelling candles are perfect for the warmer months. I picked up an apple scent and an orange scent as well as a little candle holder which looks nice with the candle burning in it. Both candles were £1 each and the holder was £1.50.

Milk Bottle, Flowers. |
The first thing I seen when I walked into Ikea were these cute little milk bottles with flowers in them and I couldn't resist with the bottles being £1 and the flowers 65p each.

Mug, Coffee/Tea Maker. |
I picked up these two kitchen items which are the perfect pair. I was looking for a big mug to drink tea and coffee from but I didn't find one as big as I was hoping but this cute little white ceramic mug will do at only £3 I can hardly complain. I also bought this coffee/tea maker which I couldn't leave behind as I've been wanting to delve into the world of loose leaf tea and ground coffee and at £6 this was a total steal.

Grey Stones. |
The last thing I purchased were these stones for the top of my cactus and putting in the bottom of my marimo moss ball terrarium and the fake flower milk bottle.

Flask, |
Now moving on to the things my boyfriend bought. He only bought 2 things but two things that are very handy in everyday life. Firstly he bought a laptop stand which is wooden on top and a lovely pop of bright coral underneath and is perfect to stop your laptop overheating on your bed. He also bought a flask for work which is super cute and reminds me of the uniform in The Life Aquatic (you'll know what I'm talking about if you've seen it). The laptop stand was £9 (I can't find this online and the collection is limited edition so get to Ikea now if you're wanting it!) and the flask was £6.
